Paul Ohodnicki

Paul Ohodnicki is an RK Mellon Faculty Fellow in Energy and Associate Professor at the University of Pittsburgh, where efforts focus on interdisciplinary research in functional materials and energy applications. Ohodnicki also serves as Chief Technology Officer at CorePower Magnetics and Co-Founder of Sensible Photonics. As an adjunct faculty member at Carnegie Mellon University, Ohodnicki teaches graduate courses on energy efficiency and power magnetics. In addition, responsibilities include Associate Editor for the Journal of Electronic Materials, overseeing research initiatives at the National Energy Technology Laboratory, and experience as an R&D Engineer at PPG Industries. Academic achievements encompass a PhD and MS in Materials Science and Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, as well as dual degrees in Engineering Physics and Economics from the University of Pittsburgh.
