Maricel Solana

Maricel Solana has extensive experience in the food color industry, currently serving as Regional Sales Manager for Central America and the Caribbean at Sensient Food Color since September 2015, following roles as Sales Account Manager and Technical Manager. Prior experience includes working at Sensient Colors as Technical Field Support for Central America and the Caribbean from April 2012 to September 2015. Maricel also contributed as an investigator at Universidad de Costa Rica from December 2010 to April 2012, focusing on product development and agro-industrial waste utilization projects in collaboration with INFOCOOP and CENIBIOT. Maricel holds a Master of Business Administration with a focus on Strategic Business Management from Centro de Estudios Superiores Formato Educativo and a Licentiate degree in Food Science and Technology from Universidad de Costa Rica.
