Simo Kuusela

Simo Kuusela is a Full Stack Developer at Sensire Ltd. since July 2019, focusing on building internal systems for managing devices, customers, and deliveries using Kotlin, Spring Boot, and PostgreSQL for backend development, as well as React and TypeScript for frontend development. Previous experience includes roles as an Embedded Systems Engineer, where Simo worked on wireless embedded devices and automated device testing, and a Master Thesis project at ABB involving the development of an electric drive simulator. Simo has also served as a Research Assistant at Lappeenranta University of Technology, developing dynamic load models in MATLAB/Simulink, and as a Trainee in embedded Linux at Murata Electronics Oy, creating automatic compilation and test systems. Early professional experience includes an internship at Intel Corporation, where Simo contributed to the development of a Linux-based operating system for IoT devices. Simo holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from LUT University.
