Christian is currently working at Sensirion as a Key-Account Manager, where they collaborate with key customers to develop and launch new solutions in Indoor Air Quality for the North American and European markets. Christian is also responsible for market analysis, solution evaluation, and business ramp-up for humidity and temperature sensors in the field of time and temperature sensitive pharmaceutical products.

Prior to their current role, Christian worked at ABB as a National Sales Manager and Channel Manager from 2016 to 2023. In this role, they had strategic and operational responsibility for the sales channel of distributors and installers, leading three sales teams targeting smart homes, smart buildings, and investors. Christian reshaped the sales team to cover the complete value chain and had P&L and EBIT responsibility for the regional sales team.

As an Area Sales Manager, they were responsible for the sales team in the center of Mexico City, achieving 22% sales growth and a ROS increase of 3% in the first year. Christian also served as a Channel Manager, responsible for the sales channels of retail, customer service, and online. Additionally, Christian was a Gerente Servicio Clientes, where they realigned customer service considering global KPIs and implemented a sales-oriented approach, leading to a 100% increase in team satisfaction rating.

Christian's career began at Hilti (Schweiz) AG in 2008, where they worked as a Team Leader in Customer Service, focusing on team building and retention of customer service agents. Christian also served as a Sales Representative, handling B2B sales of construction tools and achieving a 33% sales growth in their second year.

Christian gained early experience at Daimler and Siemens in 2007. At Daimler, they worked as a Junior Consultant, assisting the hydrogen bus engine development team with coordination and project tasks. At Siemens, they served as a Junior Project Manager for a brief period.
