Mattia Usuelli

R&d Packaging Process Engineer at Sensirion

Mattia Usuelli has work experience in various roles and companies. From 2023 onwards, they work as a Junior R&D Packaging Process Engineer at Sensirion, where they contribute to the transition of R&D trials on innovative sensors towards large-scale production and optimizes output.

Previously, they were a Postdoctoral Researcher and Research Assistant at ETH Zürich from 2017 to 2023. In these roles, they conducted research on food gels, coded scripts for data analysis, taught principles of tofu production, and supervised B.Sc. theses.

From 2021 to 2023, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at Goold AG. Before that, in 2016, they worked as a Sales Engineer (Stage) at Tecnosida.

Their earliest documented work experience was in 2015 as a chemistry teacher at Istituto Pascoli, where they taught C.A.T. This position was held for a short period of time.

Mattia Usuelli completed their education as follows:

1. From 2017 to 2021, they studied at ETH Zürich where they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the Laboratory of Food and Soft Materials, D-HEST.

2. From 2013 to 2015, they attended Politecnico di Milano and obtained a Master of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering.

3. From 2010 to 2013, they completed their Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano.

4. From 2005 to 2010, they attended Istituto di Istruzione Superiore Vittorio Bachelet and obtained an Upper Secondary School Diploma in Scientific Studies.

Additionally, they have obtained the following certifications:

1. In December 2014, they completed a Master in Life Coaching from Unicomunicazione.

2. In 2009, they obtained a First Certificate in English (grade B) from the University of Cambridge.
