Senior R&d Engineer at Sensirion

Philipp Imoberdorf has a strong background in research and development, with a focus on power electronic systems. Philipp started their career at ABB as a Diploma Student, where they worked on designing and simulating a Medium Frequency Transformer. Philipp then joined ETH Zürich as a PhD Student and Scientific Assistant at the Power Electronic Systems Laboratory. After completing their PhD, they joined Sensirion as an R&D Project Manager, where they successfully managed various projects. Currently, they hold the position of Senior R&D Engineer at Sensirion.

Philipp Imoberdorf's education history is as follows:

From 1996 to 2001, they attended Kollegium Spiritus Sanctus, Brig, where they completed their Matura degree in Typus C, specializing in mathematics and natural sciences.

In 2001, they enrolled in EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) and studied there until 2006. During this time, they earned their Dipl. El.-Ing. EPFL (MSc) degree in Electrical Engineering.

In 2003-2004, Imoberdorf studied at KTH Royal Institute of Technology as part of the Erasmus program. Philipp'sfield of study was Electrical Engineering.

From 2006 to 2011, they pursued further studies at ETH Zürich and obtained a Dr. sc. ETH degree. Philipp'sfield of study at ETH Zürich was Electrical Engineering with a specialization in Mechatronics.
