Tom Maguire is currently the Co-Founder, COO, and CMO of SensLynx, LLC since April 2015. Their role involves leading and teaching companies on how to profit from the Internet of Things (IoT) and Machine-to-Machine (M2M) technology. Before SensLynx, Tom worked as the Founder and Principal of Sedona Consulting Group starting in May 2012. In this position, they provided strategic consulting services in the wireless/mobile/telecommunications industry, specializing in business planning, market strategy, messaging, and marketing communications.

From November 2010 to May 2012, Tom was the VP of Mobile at Dolby Laboratories. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Global Marketing, Product Planning & Design at Kyocera Wireless Corp from February 2006 to November 2010. In this role, they oversaw all marketing activities for Kyocera Communications Inc, including branding, advertising, public relations, and website development. Tom also co-managed product planning and design for wireless devices.

Tom's career at Motorola spanned several roles and years. Tom started as the Regional VP/General Manager in 1988 and managed various aspects of the cellular/PCS handset business throughout Singapore. Later on, they became a Senior Director, Global, focusing on go-to-market activities and managing retail support programs worldwide. Tom also served as the Director of Global Marketing, where they played a key role in developing consumer marketing and retail strategies, implementing intranet and extranet B2B websites, and planning and executing training and education events.

Overall, Tom Maguire has extensive experience in the wireless/mobile/telecommunications industry, with a strong focus on business planning, marketing, and strategic consulting.

Tom Maguire attended Nassau Community College from 1978 to 1980, where they studied Criminal Justice and Psychology. Tom then pursued further education at SUNY @ Farmingdale from 1980 to 1982, focusing on Criminal Justice and Psychology. In addition to their academic background, they obtained a CPR/First Aid certification from the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association in February 2014.
