Vinai Sundaram

Vinai Sundaram, PhD, is a co-founder and CEO of SensorHound, Inc., where expertise focuses on developing next-generation reliability and security solutions for the Internet of Things since May 2013. Prior to this role, Vinai Sundaram completed a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Purdue University, conducting influential research on lightweight diagnostic tracing for debugging wireless sensor networks, with numerous publications in prestigious journals and conferences. Additional experience includes positions as a software engineer at Google, where performance improvements were made to internal infrastructure monitoring software, and as a research scientist at Motorola Research Labs, where innovative solutions for memory-overflow issues in embedded systems were developed. Vinai Sundaram has also held roles at Alcatel Research and Innovations, Sabre Airline Solutions, and United Online, contributing to various projects spanning from load balancing solutions to automated testing frameworks.
