Jeff is Associate Vice President for Research and Director of the Office of Industrial Partnerships at Penn State University. In this important role, Jeff is responsible for building strategic partnerships between the University and the industry. These strategic partnerships allow the flow of knowledge between various industry experts, which is a vital aspect of identifying problems and creating innovative solutions. This position was created with the goal of accelerating technology transfer and supporting economic development between the SNI and Penn State. Those who buy products that SNI are as likely to benefit from this strategic partnership as their industry counterparts. Jeff is a key member of the Invent Penn State initiative driving entrepreneurship and economic development in PA.

Jeff received his Ph.D., in Engineering Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2001, his M.S., in Physics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1998, and his B.A., in Physics, Minor in Chemistry from the University of Southern Maine in 1996. Sensor Networks, Inc. is excited to have him in PA, continuously providing fresh vantage points to the company. He is excited to be in this role as well, especially as an active member of the board of advisors.
