Seema Menon Shah

Seema Menon Shah has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Seema began their career in 2004 as a Senior Equity Analyst for a long/short equity hedge fund at Granite Capital International LP. Seema then worked as a Senior Global Equity Analyst for a multi-billion family office at Privet Capital, LLC from 2012 to 2013. In 2014, they joined Bloomberg LP as a Senior Analyst focusing on consumer/internet industries.

Seema then transitioned to the retail sector, working as the Director of Retail and Consumer Trends at RetailStat from 2019 to 2021. Following that, they were the Senior Director of Research and Analytics at Similarweb from 2021 to 2022, where they led a team focused on data-supported insight creation and brand awareness.

In addition to their corporate roles, Seema has also served as a member of the Board of Advisors for the Johns Hopkins University - Krieger School of A&S Dean's Advisory Board and the Center for Financial Economics since 2018.

Currently, Seema holds the position of Vice President of Research and Insights at Sensor Tower, a role they assumed in December 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Sr. Director of Research and Insights at the same company from September 2022 to November 2023.

Throughout their career, Seema has demonstrated their expertise in research, analytics, and strategic planning, contributing valuable insights to the organizations they have worked with.

Seema Menon Shah holds a BA degree in International Relations, Economics, and German from The Johns Hopkins University. Seema later earned an MBA in Finance from Columbia Business School.
