Gijs Meuleman has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Gijs started their career as an intern at Home Energy, where they developed configuration software and test applications for renewable energy products. Gijs then interned at Vocis Driveline Controls, where they developed embedded firmware for transmission control systems. Gijs later joined Eindhoven University of Technology as a researcher and also worked as a graduate student at Imec Netherlands/Holst Centre. In 2015, Gijs became the CEO of Sensorfy, a company that specializes in detecting equipment defects to prevent unplanned downtime. In 2019, they founded Meuleman Investments, aiming to address the housing crisis in the Netherlands by transforming office buildings into living spaces.
Gijs Meuleman pursued their education in electrical engineering. Gijs completed their Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at HZ University of Applied Sciences, from 2006 to 2010. Following their undergraduate studies, they went on to pursue a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology, graduating in 2012.
