Carlos Eduardo Santos serves as the President of the Asociación Latinoamericana de Prevención de Pérdidas (ALAPPE) since May 2025 and is currently a Coordinator and Professor for the MBA in Loss Prevention and Risk Management at Live University. Since April 2019, Carlos has held the position of Business Development Director for Latin America in Loss Prevention and RFID at Sensormatic. Additional roles include serving as President of Abrappe, a Brazilian loss prevention association, and as a guest professor at various institutions including Fundação Dom Cabral and MBA USP/Esalq. Carlos has a strong academic background with an MBA in Risk Management from FECAP and a Bachelor’s degree in Law, supplemented by a degree in Business Administration. Carlos is also an administrator of the Portal Prevenir Perdas, an online resource dedicated to loss prevention.
