Jim Gilbreath has worked in various roles in the technology industry since 1996. Theircareer began at NEC Electronics, where they were the Director of Marketing for the MicroProcessor Division. In 2000, they moved to InSilica as the Director of Marketing, where they were responsible for the company's semiconductor communication IP until it was acquired by Synopsys. In 2001, they joined Adaptec as the Corporate Director of Business Development, where they were responsible for M&A strategy, due diligence, new business initiatives, and strategic investment allocation of the company. In 2003, they moved to Marvell Technology as the Director of Marketing, where they were responsible for initiating and managing the ARM processor group. In 2005, they returned to InSilica as the Vice President of Marketing, where they were responsible for top strategic planning and marketing. In 2010, they joined ENOVIX as the Vice President of Business Development, where they were successful in defining a validated roadmap and positioning into a number of Tier 1 OEM relationships. In 2012, they joined Plug and Play Tech Center as an Executive in Residence. In 2013, they joined NeuroSky as the Vice President/GM of mHealth Solutions and an ongoing CEO advisor. In 2015, they joined Triventures as an Executive in Residence. In 2006, they joined Sensory Inc. as a Board Director and the Vice President of Marketing, where they initiated and drove business into major OEMs and drove partnerships with Microsoft and Google.

Jim Gilbreath holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Texas Tech University and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas at Arlington.
