Roman A. Dyba, Ph.D.

Roman A. Dyba, Ph.D. is an experienced audio DSP engineer with a robust background in digital signal processing. Currently serving as a Senior Audio DSP Engineer at Sensory, Inc. since February 2015, Roman focuses on developing and verifying DSP algorithms, specifically in areas such as Acoustic Echo Cancellation, Noise Suppression, and Beamforming. Prior experience includes a role as Staff Engineer at Audience, Inc. where benchmarking of voice and DSP algorithm products was performed, and a position as DSP Architect at VIA Telecom where voice and DSP algorithm development and evaluation were key responsibilities. Roman also contributed to DSP algorithm development at Freescale Semiconductor, Inc. from 2001 to 2009, and developed a multi-channel DSP platform and algorithms for digital telephony during a tenure at Nortel Networks from 1987 to 2001.
