Mary Hardy

Mary Hardy is a chartered accountant and former partner at Ernst & Young with 20 years’ experience as Director of Internal Audit for Diageo, Transport for London and the London Olympics.

She is currently a non-executive director on the boards of the Oil and Gas Authority and the Royal Navy, and chairs their audit and risk committee and audit committee respectively. She is also a non-executive member of the Ministry of Defence audit committee, and a trustee and chair of the audit and risk committee at the Chartered Accountants Benevolent Association.

Previously, she was a member of the audit committees of HM Treasury and the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales. She has a degree in languages from King’s College London and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
