Tony Bourne

Tony Bourne has considerable experience and knowledge of the healthcare and financial services industries.

He was Chief Executive of the British Medical Association between 2005 and 2013. Prior to this he was in investment banking for over 25 years, including as a partner of independent corporate finance advisory firm Hawk point, as global head of the equities division and a member of the managing board of Paribas and held senior roles at Merrill Lynch, European Banking Company and James Capel & Co. Tony currently serves as Chair of CW+ (the official charity of Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust), and is a Non-Executive Director of Barchester Healthcare, Spire Healthcare Group plc and Totally plc.
