Carla Slack

Carla Slack is an experienced manager currently serving as the Manager of the ePMO Center of Excellence at Sentara Health since April 2024. Previously, Carla held the position of Program Director at Elevance Health from September 2019 to February 2024, and before that, held various roles at Amerigroup Corporation, including Director ITS Customer Account Manager, AVP_ITS Implementation, and IT Business Analyst Principal 1 from July 2006 to October 2019. Carla also worked as a Business Rel Mgmt Exec Advisor at Anthem, Inc. from August 2018 to September 2019 and as an Information Architect at Sentara Healthcare from 2002 to 2006. With expertise in dynamic decision support, data architecture designs, and IT solutions that align with clinical and operational goals, Carla possesses extensive knowledge in areas such as predictive modeling and medical artificial intelligence. Carla earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Virginia Commonwealth University between 1988 and 1992.
