Melinda S. Hancock

Melinda Hancock is an accomplished healthcare executive with extensive experience in financial and administrative leadership roles. Currently serving as Chief Transformation Officer and Chief Administrative Officer at Sentara Health since August 2021, Melinda previously held the position of Chief Administrative and Financial Officer at VCU Health from June 2016 to August 2021. Prior to this, Melinda was a Partner at Dixon Hughes Goodman LLP and served in various roles, including Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Strategic Finance, at Bon Secours Virginia Health System. Notably, Melinda also acted as Interim Chief Financial Officer at Bon Secours Charity Health System. Melinda holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from William & Mary and a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Administration from the University of Phoenix.
