Alex Abatie

Alex Abatie is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in unmanned aerial systems (sUAS) operations and instruction. Currently serving as an RPIC at CES Utility Solutions since January 2024, Alex has also been the Principal Owner of Hawkeye Workshop, focused on ATM solutions, since May 2016. Additional roles include Chief Pilot and Firefighter for the San Marcos Pass Volunteer Fire Department since February 2023, as well as a Flight Instructor at DARTdrones Flight School, where Alex trains students in sUAS operations and test preparation. Alex has gained significant experience in agriculture and utility inspections through positions at Sentera and various T&D companies from 2019 to 2022. Educational background includes attendance at UC Santa Barbara and Marymount.
