Jon Watson

Jon Watson has been working in the software engineering industry since 2010. From 2010 to 2015, they worked as a Software Engineer at UTC Aerospace Systems, where they developed safety-critical avionics software (DO-178B/C) while following a formal software life cycle. This included requirements development and management, source code design and construction, and software review and testing. Since 2015, they have been working as a Software Engineer at Sentera, where they focus on development of embedded software for vertical takeoff and fixed-wing drones in the precision agriculture industry. This includes complete software solutions for micro-controller based systems and software development in Embedded Linux environments.

Jon Watson earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Iowa State University in 2008, followed by a Master's Degree in the same field from the same university in 2010.
