Martin Giedlin

Martin Giedlin has extensive work experience in the biotech and pharmaceutical industry. Martin is currently the SVP, Head of Technical Operations at Senti Biosciences since November 2021. Prior to that, they served as the Senior Vice President at PactPharma Inc from March 2020 to November 2021. Before that, they worked as a Senior Consultant at MG Consulting from October 2019 to March 2020. Martin also held the position of Senior Consultant and VP Technical Operations at MG Consulting from February 2018 to October 2019. Martin Giedlin was the Executive Director at Novartis from December 2014 to January 2018. Martin served as the VP, Development at Sangamo BioSciences from February 2008 to November 2014. Martin held the position of Sr Director Pharm.Tox at Cerus from 2002 to 2007. Martin Giedlin worked as the Director, Pharm/Tox at Onyx Pharmaceuticals from 2000 to 2002 and at Chiron Corporation from 1992 to 2000. Martin started their career as a Scientist at Triton Biosciences from 1986 to 1992.

Martin Giedlin started their education at the University of Notre Dame in 1972, where they pursued a field of study in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Martin completed their undergraduate degree in Biology and Chemistry in 1976 from the same university. In the same year, they continued their education at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, specializing in Microbiology/Immunology. After five years of study, they obtained a Ph.D. degree in 1981.
