George Asmus

SVP, Operations at Sentient Energy

George Asmus joined Sentient Energy in 2016 as Senior Vice President of Operations. George is responsible for all manufacturing Operations, Customer Success/Service and Facilities.

George brings more than 20 years of Executive Supply Chain/Operations Management experience with a history of successful high growth at start-ups as well as at large Telecom and Electronics companies. Most recently he held a variety of senior supply chain positions at Ericsson, which acquired Entrisphere in 2007 where George served as Vice President of Operations. At Ericsson he was responsible for the merger of two Silicon Valley supply chain acquisitions (RedBack Networks and Entrisphere) and their integration. During that time, he was also responsible for Supply Chain Operations of IP and Broadband Access product families and was later Head of Product Introduction Management for Cloud and IP Networking Products at the San Jose site.

George also served as Vice President of Operations at such companies as Pedestal Networks, Netlist, ADC Telecommunications and PairGain Technologies, which was acquired by ADC in 2000 for $1.6B. At Philips/Magnavox Electronics he held numerous Supply Chain Management and Project Management positions.

George received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from NYIT and an MS in Program Management from West Coast University.
