Jesus Nuevo Chiquero has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of software engineering and research. Jesus started their career as a PhD Candidate at the RobeSafe group at the University of Alcala in 2004, working on robotics and computer vision. After completing their PhD in 2009, they worked as a visiting researcher at Chalmers University of Technology and later joined CSIRO ICT Centre as a visiting researcher in 2006.
In 2010, Jesus became a Post-doctoral Researcher at the University of Alcala, where they worked until 2011. During this time, they focused on research and development, particularly in the field of face tracking algorithms and their integration into mobile platforms. Jesus contributed to the development of mobile face tracking technology and 3D mesh fitting technology for industry applications.
In 2011, Jesus joined CSIRO as a Post-doctoral fellow, further enhancing their expertise in face tracking algorithms and mobile platforms. Jesus worked on projects for CyWee and 1800-Contacts, contributing to the development and implementation of advanced technologies.
From 2013 to 2022, Jesus worked at TrueVisionSolutions Pty Ltd as an R&D Engineer and CTO. Jesus played a crucial role in research and development activities, leveraging their expertise in computer vision and software engineering.
In 2019, Jesus joined Sentient Vision Systems as a Senior Software Engineer, contributing their knowledge and skills to the development of innovative software solutions.
Throughout their career, Jesus Nuevo Chiquero has demonstrated a strong passion for research and development, making significant contributions to the field of computer vision and software engineering.
Jesus Nuevo Chiquero obtained their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Telecommunication Engineering from the Universidad de Alcalá, where they attended from 1998 to 2003. In July 2018, they also obtained a Professional Scrum Product Owner I certification from Scrum.org.
