Maja Sever

Maja Sever has a diverse work experience, starting from 2006 where they worked as a Court Clerk at ICTY. Afterward, they worked as an Associate at Law Firms Miro Senica and Attorneys, Ltd. and Urbanija Attorney at Law. Maja then worked as an In-house Counsel Trainee at NLB d.d. before being hired as a Legal Advisor at Comtrade Group. Later on, they served as a Liability Insurance Underwriter and Legal Advisor on insurance law at Zavarovalnica Triglav, d.d. Maja also worked as a Legal Specialist at Elly and then as a Cabinet Secretary at the Government Office for Digital Transformation before moving on to work as a Senior Associate at PwC Slovenia. Currently, they hold the position of Assistant Director & General Counsel at Sentinel Marine solutions.

Maja Sever obtained their University Law Degree in Law from Erasmus School of Law in 2009. Maja also has a University Law Degree in Commercial Law & IP from the University of Maribor Faculty of Law. In 2015, they received an edX Honor Code Certificate for English for Doing Business in Asia - Writing from edX & The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Additionally, they hold several certifications from edX and Cambridge University Press in areas such as Blockchain, M&A, and Legal English.
