Eric Robinson

Eric Robinson has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Eric is currently working as a Lead Data Scientist at Sentinel Peak Resources, where they lead the development and deployment of data science initiatives. Prior to this, they worked at California Resources Corporation, where they held multiple roles including Lead Data Engineer/Solutions Architect and Data Scientist. In these roles, they developed AWS integrations, co-developed data science pipelines, and contributed to data architecture and ETL efforts.

Before their time at California Resources Corporation, Eric worked as a Production Operations Engineer at Oxy, where they optimized and troubleshot well operations. Eric also worked as a Corrosion Engineering Intern at Shell and held internships at Berry Petroleum Company in roles such as Reservoir Engineering Intern and Production Engineering Intern. Additionally, they gained experience as a Part-time Assistant Laboratory Technician at Baker Hughes and as a Roustabout at West Roc.

Throughout their career, Eric has demonstrated expertise in data science, data engineering, AWS integration, well operations, reservoir analysis, and production engineering.

Eric Robinson completed their education in the field of Mechanical Engineering. Eric obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wyoming from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution from 2008 to 2011. Before attending the University of Wyoming, Eric studied Pre-Engineering at California State University, Bakersfield from 2006 to 2008.

In addition to their educational background, Eric has obtained several certifications. In September 2021, they achieved the Automation Pro I and Automation Pro II certifications from Workato. Earlier in February 2021, they received certifications in DevOps Foundations and Enterprise Architecture Foundations from LinkedIn.
