Karan Bamal

Karan Bamal is a Senior Cloud Security Researcher at SentinelOne, responsible for leading research on exploits and vulnerabilities within the Offensive Security Engine of SentinelOne's Singularity Cloud-Native Security. Karan also contributes as a security researcher, CTF player, and bug bounty hunter with the Synack Red Team. Previously, Karan served as a Security Engineer at PingSafe, where Azure CSPM security solutions were developed, and at apna, where responsibilities included auditing cloud security practices and managing security-related issues. Karan's early experience includes internships with the Ministry of External Affairs in India and Indian Oil Corp Limited, where critical vulnerabilities were identified and addressed. Karan has also held positions in security assessment and penetration testing during internships, demonstrating a strong foundation in cybersecurity. An integrated BTech + MTech graduate from Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Karan possesses a comprehensive background in computer science and cybersecurity.
