Adam Bąk

Software Engineer at SentiOne

Adam Bąk has worked in the software engineering industry since 2014. From 2014 to 2015, they worked at JIT Solutions sp. z o.o. as a Java Trainee Developer, where they worked on projects that stored medical data and developed an application that processed data for aviation purposes. In 2017, they joined Lufthansa Systems Poland as a Junior Software Engineer, where they developed an electronic version of aeronautical navigation charts and implemented and code refactored according to TDD. In 2019, they worked at Abaro Sp. z o.o. as a Scala Developer and at Scalac as a Junior Scala Developer, working on distributed microservices used in the financial sector and maintaining internal projects. In 2020, they joined Acoustic as a Software Engineer, working on Amazon CloudWatch Synthetics monitoring. Finally, they are currently employed at SentiOne as a Software Engineer.

Adam Bąk received their Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Computer Science from Gdańsk University of Technology in 2016. Adam previously obtained their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Computer Science from Gdańsk University of Technology in 2015. Additionally, Adam has obtained certifications from Coursera in Functional Program Design in Scala (March 2019) and Functional Programming Principles in Scala (January 2019), as well as a certification from IBM in Principles of Reactive Architecture (September 2018). Adam also holds an Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer certification from Oracle.
