Mateusz Szygenda

Mateusz Szygenda began their career in 2008 as a Software Engineer for Undermedia.pl. In 2010, they joined Kainos as a Trainee Software Engineer, where they worked part-time on a healthcare product. In 2013, they were promoted to Senior Software Engineer at Kainos, where they worked on a system for the British Government and a SSO/Account management system for the Ministry of Justice. In 2016, they joined SentiOne as a Dev Lead, where they were responsible for developing the Listen product, keeping the product in good technical shape, and providing technical analysis. Mateusz also worked on other products, such as React and Automate, using technologies such as Scala, Java, Play Framework, Akka Framework, and Cats library.

Mateusz Szygenda graduated from the University of Gdansk in 2014 with a Magister (Mgr) degree in Informatyka. In 2013, they obtained a Professional Scrum Master I (PSM I) certification from Scrum.org and a Functional Programming Principles in Scala certification from Coursera.
