Andy Charlton

Andy Charlton has a diverse work experience in the fields of design, product management, and entrepreneurship. Andy is currently a Co-Founder at Sentr, a role they have held since 2021. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder and Head of Product at Stakester from 2019 to 2023. At Stakester, they led the growth of the product, managed expansion into new markets, implemented agile product development strategies, and managed a product team.

Before their role at Stakester, Andy worked as a UX/UI Design Consultant at Quantexa from 2018 to 2019, where they built the design system for the UI of Quantexa Explorer. Andy conducted interviews with financial crime experts, created a comprehensive design system, and designed new functionality for the product.

Andy also worked as a UX/UI Design Consultant at the British Heart Foundation from 2018 to 2018, where they contributed to the implementation of a design system across digital products and led the design of a campaign website.

Andy has held senior design roles in other organizations as well. Andy was a Senior UI Designer at NHS Digital from 2015 to 2018, leading UI design for various projects. Prior to that, they were a Digital Designer at Theta Systems Ltd from 2014 to 2015, where they were responsible for visual and interaction design elements of client projects.

Andy started their career as a Graphic Designer at Optimo Designs in 2013 and later worked as a Graphic Designer at Ted Baker in the same year. In these roles, they designed marketing collateral and print materials for various clients.

Andy's earliest work experience was as a Designer at Total Compliance, where they performed a complete overhaul of the brand's visual identity and logo.

Throughout their career, Andy Charlton has demonstrated expertise in design, product management, and entrepreneurship, with a focus on creating user-friendly and visually appealing products.

Andy Charlton attended Northumbria University from 2007 to 2010, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Multimedia Design. Andy also attended Queen Elizabeth Sixth Form College Darlington, but no specific degree or field of study was mentioned for that period. In addition to their formal education, Andy Charlton obtained a certification in UX Foundation Training from UXTraining.com in March 2017.
