Rafael Garcia

Rafael Garcia has a strong background in software engineering and web development. Rafael is currently working as an Engineering Team Lead at Sentral since June 2022. Prior to that, they held the role of Full Stack Developer at Sentral starting from October 2020.

Before joining Sentral, Rafael worked at SalesPond as a Principal Developer and Team Leader from November 2015 to October 2020. In this role, they were responsible for analysis, back-end development, technical guidance, and communication facilitation between the team and stakeholders. Rafael developed a CRM using PHP 7.3 and employed an agile development methodology.

Prior to SalesPond, Rafael worked at Webboom Estratégias Digitais as a Software Engineer where they were involved in the analysis and development of CRM, ERP, and websites. Rafael implemented a design pattern in MVC pattern and utilized PHP, MYSQL, HTML, HTML5, jQuery, and Bootstrap.

Before that, Rafael worked at Agito Conteúdo e Tecnologia S.A. as a Software Engineer, developing new tools and maintaining a system for controlling over 200 affiliate websites. Rafael also developed Agito Brazil Penny Auction using PHP, MVC architecture, and MYSQL.

Rafael started their career at Webboom Estratégias Digitais as a Full Stack Developer, where they developed websites and CMS systems using PHP, MySQL, Javascript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS.

During their early career, Rafael served as an IT Trainee at NIED - Unicamp, gaining valuable experience in the field.

Rafael Garcia earned a degree in Analysis of Computer Systems from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they obtained a Technical degree in Informatics from Cotil - Unicamp from 2005 to 2007. Additionally, they have a certification in Fundamentals and Practices in the Swift Programming Language from Instituto de Pesquisas Eldorado. The dates of obtaining this certification are not specified.
