Ashley "Amelya" Foster LMSW- CTP (MPA)

Ashley "Amelya" Foster LMSW- CTP (MPA) has worked in the mental health industry for over 10 years. In 2011, they began their career as a Breastfeeding Peer Counselor at the Montgomery County Health Department, where they educated and counseled pregnant and breastfeeding mothers to overcome common barriers transitioning into parenthood. In 2015, they moved on to Convergys, where they managed individual consumer accounts specializing in customer relations on behalf of a wireless security provider. In 2016, they became a Mental Health Technician at Oak Plains Academy of Tennessee, Inc., providing one-on-one instruction to students with behavioral and learning disabilities in a classroom environment. In 2018, Ashley became a Certified Crisis Consultant at Centerstone, responsible for providing brief clinical screenings, risk assessments, crisis intervention, and service linkage for all incoming calls. In 2019, they were a Clinical Therapist Intern at Hermitage Hall, providing therapy to adolescents who have experienced sexual trauma who are displaying sexually reactive and sexually aggressive behaviors. That same year, they also became a Specialized Crisis Services at Youth Villages, where they were a crisis responder providing service to children and adolescents under the age of 18. In 2021, they became the Director of Operations at Resilience Center PLLC and a Therapist Associate at Cerebral. Currently, Ashley is a Mental Health Therapist at SentryHealth.

Ashley "Amelya" earned a Master of Social Work - MSW degree from Austin Peay State University in 2019, with a field of study in Generalist. Ashley "Amelya" also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from Austin Peay State University in 2014.
