Nienke Oomes

Nienke Oomes is currently the Head of Global Economics & Development at SEO Amsterdam Economics. Prior to that, Nienke held positions such as Associate Professor of Economics at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Lead Economist at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, and Mission Chief at the International Monetary Fund. Nienke also has experience as a Visiting Professor and Lecturer at various universities, including designing and teaching courses in economics. Nienke holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, among other degrees.
