Wouter Elsenburg

Wouter Elsenburg is a seasoned economist with extensive experience in financial markets and healthcare. Currently serving as a Senior Economist at SEO Amsterdam Economics since October 2022, Wouter previously held the position of Senior Supervisor at Autoriteit Financiële Markten from August 2017 to October 2022. Wouter's earlier roles include Senior Economist at the Ministry of Finance of the Netherlands from 2012 to 2017, Economist at CPB Netherlands Bureau for Economic Policy Research between January 2010 and 2012, and Economist at De Nederlandsche Bank from 2001 to 2009. Wouter holds a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Amsterdam, obtained from 1993 to 2000, and completed studies at Tinbergen Institute between 2001 and 2011. Wouter’s foundational education was completed at Montessori Lyceum Amsterdam from 1987 to 1993.
