Juan Pfeiffer

Juan Pfeiffer has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Juan is the Founder and CEO of SEOS Energy, a position they have held since March 2019. Additionally, Juan serves as a Board Member for Optima Global Inc., starting in May 2019.

In terms of their involvement in the energy sector, Juan worked as a Green Energy Development Advisor for the Government of Alberta from November 2017 to March 2019. Prior to that, they served as a Solar Energy Advisor for the Peavine Metis Settlement from January 2017 to November 2017.

Juan's career began at Schlumberger, where they held various positions in the wireline department. Juan started as a Wireline Junior Field Engineer in July 2011, before progressing to the role of Wireline Senior Field Engineer from February 2012 to December 2014. Finally, Juan served as a Wireline General Field Engineer from January 2015 to November 2016.

Alongside their professional work, Juan is also involved in the energy sector as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Asociación Colombiana de Energía Solar ACOSOL, starting in July 2021.

Juan Pfeiffer has a diverse education history. Juan first attended Liceo Frances Louis Pasteur from 1990 to 2004, where they obtained a Baccalaureat Scientifique. After completing high school, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering at Universidad de Los Andes from 2004 to 2009. Juan then continued their education at the same university and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from 2007 to 2010.

Seeking further specialization, Juan went on to pursue a Master of Science degree in Sustainable Energy Development at the University of Calgary from 2016 to 2017. This allowed him to deepen their knowledge in the field.

After completing their master's degree, Juan undertook a certificate program in Climate & Renewable Energy Finance at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management in 2019. This program likely provided him with specialized skills in the financial aspects of renewable energy projects.

In addition to their formal education, Juan has also obtained several certifications to enhance their expertise. Juan completed the GHG Validation and Verification - ISO 14064-3 certification at the University of Toronto in February 2018. In July 2017, they obtained the Advanced PV System Design and the NEC certification from Solar Energy International (SEI). Juan also completed the Programa de Formación de Líderes Energéticos certification from the World Energy Council in June 2017. Furthermore, they obtained the Innovator's Toolkit Series certification from Innovate Calgary in May 2017. Juan'scertification journey began with the Capacity Building Program on Renewable Energy certification from UNIDO in January 2016. Finally, they obtained the Matricula Profesional Ingeniero (Professional Engineering Certificate) from COPIME - Consejo Profesional Nacional de Ingenieria in April 2010.

Overall, Juan Pfeiffer has built a strong educational foundation in both engineering and sustainable energy development, combined with specialized knowledge in climate and renewable energy finance.
