Andriy Serdega's work experience includes serving as a Research Engineer at Seoul Robotics since April 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Research Scientist at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) from December 2019 to July 2020. In this role, they focused on models for retrosynthesis using various techniques such as Transformer Networks, Variational Autoencoders, and Graph Neural Networks. Before that, Andriy worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at KAIST from September 2017 to August 2019, where they conducted research in the Brain Reverse Engineering and Imaging Lab. Their projects included topics such as Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Video Prediction, Domain Adaptation, Semantic Segmentation, Generative Models, and Question Answering. Andriy also co-authored an article published in IEEE/ACM Transactions on Audio, Speech, and Language Processing.
Earlier in their career, Andriy held positions as a Software Engineer at an Augmented Reality Startup in 2014 and as a Software Engineer at QUINTILE CAPITAL from January 2014 to September 2014, where they developed a data analysis platform for stock market data using the .Net framework.
Andriy Serdega earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, which they completed from 2013 to 2017. Andriy then pursued a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology during the period of 2017 to 2019.
