Damien Gruppo

Damien Gruppo has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Damien'smost recent position is as a Technical Program Manager at Seoul Robotics, starting in October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as an IT Project Manager at Renault Group from October 2020 to October 2022.

In 2019, Damien worked as a Systems Architect at CESAMES, where they provided consultancy services to help customers manage complexity in their systems using MBSE methods and Systems Architecture Framework. Damien also played a role in transforming engineering organizations and trained system engineers on MBSE-based Systems Architecture methods. This position lasted from July 2019 to November 2019.

Before CESAMES, Damien was a Rail System Engineer at SYSTRA from September 2018 to July 2019. Damien then worked as a System Architect at Ansaldo STS, a Hitachi Group Company, from October 2016 to August 2018. During their tenure, they also took on the role of Construction and Commissioning Engineer, overseeing the on-site commissioning and operation of bi-standard ETCS/TVM signalling systems. Damien successfully completed environmental, functional, and factory acceptance tests, improved failure rates, and led synchronization meetings with the French Project Management Office.

Adding to their experience, Damien was an Integration Engineer at Ansaldo STS for five months in 2013 and worked as a System Engineer at the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2012. At the academy, they designed a system for aerodynamic measurements on a plane and developed a command-control system using Labview. Damien also had a brief experience as a Factory Worker at Bekaert in July and August 2011.

Damien Gruppo has a diverse education history. Damien began their academic journey at Lycée François Mansart from 2006 to 2008, where they completed their Baccalauréat in Sciences. Following that, they attended Lycée Marcellin-Berthelot from 2008 to 2010, pursuing Classez préparatoires in Sciences. Finally, they went on to attend CentraleSupélec from 2010 to 2013, where they earned their MSc in Engineering with a specialization in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Damien Gruppo also holds several certifications. Damien obtained the Essential Google Cloud Infrastructure: Core Services certification from Coursera in May 2022. Damien also completed the Essential Google Cloud Infrastructure: Foundation certification and the Google Cloud Fundamentals: Core Infrastructure certification, both from Coursera, in April 2022.
