Bob Nowadly has over 16 years of work experience in the software engineering field. Bob started their career in 2004 as a Software Test Engineer at Quality Vision International, where they created and executed test plans, wrote unit tests and API tests, and developed a build process for continuous integration. Bob also served as a Test Lead and made presentations on unit testing.

In 2007, Bob joined Software Engineering Professionals (SEP) as a Software Engineer 2. In this role, they developed web pages in ASP.NET MVC, C#, Perl, and JQuery, wrote unit tests, and performed code and design reviews. Bob then progressed to the role of Software Engineer 3, where they continued to develop and test web applications.

Bob's career at SEP further advanced when they became a Lead Software Engineer I in 2013. In this role, they led a team of 3-7 people, facilitated client meetings to gather requirements, provided technical guidance, and adjusted development processes as needed. Bob also created reports and implemented a continuous integration build process. Currently, Bob holds the position of Lead Software Engineer 2 at SEP, where they utilize their technical expertise to troubleshoot client issues, create requirements documents, and lead estimation meetings.

Bob Nowadly obtained their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering Technology from Rochester Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1998 to 2004. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at West Seneca East Senior High School, graduating with a Regents degree in 1998. Bob also holds a certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance, which they obtained in January 2020.
