Martin Garnes has over 10 years of experience in human resources and talent acquisition. Martin is currently the Regional Talent Acquisition Director Asia at Sephora, a leading global beauty retailer. Garnes has a proven track record in successfully recruiting top talent for companies in a variety of industries.

Garnes began their career as a Senior Consultant in Consumer and Healthcare at HCCR - Human Capital Consulting & Recruiting. In this role, they worked with clients to assess their HR needs and develop strategies to attract and retain top talent. After two years in this role, Garnes was promoted to Managing Director of HCCR's Hong Kong and Greater China operations. In this role, they oversaw all aspects of the company's recruitment business in the region, including developing new business relationships, managing a team of consultants, and delivering high-quality service to clients.

In 2017, Garnes left HCCR to join Philip Morris International as the Talent Acquisition Lead for the company's new Electronics Hub in Hong Kong. In this role, they were responsible for leading the strategic talent acquisition during the ramp-up phase of the new hub. Martin successfully recruited and hired 40 employees across a variety of functions, from mid-career to senior managerial roles.

Most recently, Garnes joined Sephora as the Regional Talent Acquisition Director Asia. In this role, they are responsible for leading Sephora's talent acquisition efforts in Asia, with a focus on identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to support the company's growth in the region.

Martin Garnes has an MBA from INSEAD, a BA from Augsburg University, and a Bachelor's from Østfold University College (HiØ). Martin is also certified from SHRI Academy in Human Resource Policies and Legislation Framework Management for Singapore, Mercer in 2021 Mercer's Advanced Job Evaluation, Hogan Assessment Systems in Hogan Assessment Certification (HPI, HDS, MVPI), and SHL in SHL Personality and Ability Assessment (OPQ).

Martin Garnes reports to Alia Gogi, President, Asia. They work with Christel Bouvron - Director of Business Intelligence, Asia, Gurvan Robineau - Director, Engineering and Operations, Asia, and Jeff Schryver - VP, Finance & Analytics.
