Adam Lev-Libfeld

Adam Lev-Libfeld has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Adam is currently the VP R&D at Sepio, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Technology Officer at tons.ai from January 2022 to January 2023.

From February 2020 to February 2022, Adam worked at Lightricks as the Director of Data Engineering & acting DPO. In this role, they led the engineering efforts in data intake and real-time processing, transitioning the company from batch processing to a real-time, self-service system.

Before joining Lightricks, Adam was the Scale and Performance Specialist and owner at Tamar Tech Solutions from January 2015 to February 2021. Adam provided high-performance architecture and development services to a wide range of clients, including startups and multinational corporations.

Adam also gained experience as the Chief Architect and CISO at Emedgene from October 2018 to August 2019. Adam planned and executed major structural changes to improve performance and security in a large-scale bioinformatics SaaS.

In their early career, Adam worked as a Senior Software Engineer and Fast Data Engineer in the Israel Defense Forces from September 2012 to January 2015. Adam also served as a HPC Specialist at the Ministry of Defence / Prime Minister's Office from October 2010 to September 2012.

Adam began their career as a Research Assistant and then Head TA at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Adam also worked as a Campus Ambassador at Sun Microsystems. In addition, they had a successful freelance career as a programmer and computer science tutor, contributing to various enterprise, open source, and private sector projects.

Adam Lev-Libfeld began their education in 2006 at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Engineering. Adam completed their undergraduate studies in 2010. In 2009, Adam continued their education at the same university, this time in the field of Computer Science, and obtained a Master of Science degree in 2011.

In addition to their academic achievements, Adam also obtained several certifications. In 2007, they became an International certified bartender through BarMaster. In 2008, they obtained the Sun Certified Programmer for Java certification from Sun Microsystems Inc. Adam also held roles in the Israel Defense Forces, where they achieved the rank of IDF Officer - Captain in March 2011 and IDF Academic Reserve Professional Officer - Second Class in September 2010. More recently, in 2018, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services.
