Charles W. Cherry

Charles W. Cherry has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Charles W. is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer of Ronin Group LLC since June 2023. Prior to that, they were a Co-Owner of Bowie Mixed Martial Arts since December 2009.

Cherry has also had experience in various government agencies. Charles W. worked as a Branch Chief at the U.S. Department of Homeland Security HQ/ Threat Management Operations from January 2020 to January 2023. Charles W. was also a Member of the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals during the same period.

Before that, Cherry served as a Senior Special Agent at the U.S. Department of the Treasury from January 2016 to January 2020. Charles W. had previously worked at the Office of Inspector General (GPO) as a Lead Special Agent from June 2013 to January 2016. Charles W. also served as a Special Agent at the U.S. Customs and Border Protection from November 2011 to June 2013.

Cherry's earlier experiences include working as an Assistant Special Agent in Charge at HUD OIG from January 2005 to November 2011, a Special Agent at the Pentagon Force Protection Agency from November 2002 to January 2005, and a Special Agent at the Defense Security Service from January 2000 to November 2002.

In addition to their professional roles, Cherry has been an active member of various professional organizations, including the Association of Threat Assessment Professionals.

Charles W. Cherry completed a Graduate Certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis at the University of Western Florida from 2020 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained an M.S. in Human Relations and Business from Amberton University and a B.S. in Business Administration from National-Louis University. In addition to their degrees, Charles holds various certifications including Force Science Analyst from the Force Science Institute, Arrest & Control Tactics Instructor and Handcuffing OC Spray & Baton Instructor from L.O.C.K.U.P., as well as certifications in Certified Crime Prevention Specialist and Certified Security Assessment Specialist from the American Crime Prevention Institute. Charles W. is also a Crisis Management Instructor certified by the Professional Crisis Management Association.
