Marquise D. Williams

Marquise D. Williams is a Planning Analyst at the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA), having assumed this role in July 2023. Previously, Marquise served as a Justice x Belonging Assistant at the University of Pennsylvania's Weitzman School of Design from September 2021 to July 2023. Notable experiences include an internship in Strategic Planning & Analysis at SEPTA, and serving as an Outreach Coordinator with GapBuster Inc., where Marquise developed outreach plans and produced informative video projects. Additionally, Marquise was an Equitable Public Space Fellow at the Design Trust for Public Space, focusing on equity and social justice in community design. Earlier experience includes an ethnographic internship at Charlotte Center City Partners, engaging with community well-being initiatives. Marquise holds a Master of City and Regional Planning from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Davidson College.
