David Lau

David Lau is a seasoned pharmaceutical professional currently serving as Vice President of DMPK/Clinical Pharmacology at Septerna since June 2025. Prior to this role, David Lau held several senior positions including Senior Vice President of Development Sciences at Nura Bio and Senior Vice President of NCE Preclinical and Clinical Development at FORESEE PHARMACEUTICALS, INC. David Lau's extensive experience also encompasses leadership roles at Rigel Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Johnson & Johnson, where responsibilities included managing Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics. David Lau earned a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Chemistry from the University of California, San Francisco and a B.S. in Pharmaceutics from the University at Buffalo.
