Miles Yamasaki has four years of work experience. From 2022 to present, they have been a Research Associate at Septerna. Prior to that, from 2020 to 2022, they were a Research Associate at Planet Biotechnology, Inc. From 2018 to 2020, they were an IOCO Lab Researcher at Santa Clara University, where they researched the mechanisms of ADP-ribosylation by PARP14 on various targets as well as their physiological implications and worked on the lab's first publication developing a novel technique for identifying and quantifying modifications made by PARP proteins. This work was funded by the Real Experience Actual Learning scholarship from Santa Clara University. From 2018 to 2020, they were also a Laboratory Teaching Assistant at the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Santa Clara University.
