Arran Derbyshire has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Arran started their career as a C Developer at Aston Broadcast Systems Ltd in 1994. Arran then worked as a Research Assistant in Computer Science at Imperial College London from 1998 to 2000. In 2004, they became a Python Developer at Maxeler Technologies. Arran then joined Creative Labs in 2007 as an Audio DSP Engineer, and later moved to Eigenlabs in 2008 as a C++ Audio Developer. Since 2011, they have been working at Sepura plc as a Principal Audio DSP Engineer.
Arran Derbyshire has a strong educational background in computer science and electrical engineering. Arran completed their Master of Science (MSc) degree in Digital Music Processing (Elec Eng) from Queen Mary University of London in 2006. Prior to that, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Computer Science from Imperial College London, where they studied between 2000 and 2004. Arran also holds a Bachelor of Engineering (MEng) degree in Computer Science & Electrical Engineering, which they acquired from Imperial College London from 1994 to 1998.
