Test Equipment Development Engineer at Sepura

George Porter's work experience begins in 2008 when they held the position of Youth Advocate at Youth Connexions. George remained in this role until 2011. In 2012, they gained work experience as an Architectural Technician at Hertford Planning Services, where they learned the basics of using AutoCAD. In 2013, they worked as a Bartender at the Standon Calling Festival. The following year, in 2014, they served as a Lead Researcher at DANAD Design. In 2015, they participated in job shadowing at Transport for London. In 2016, they briefly worked as a Parking Attendant at Serco and as a Trolley Assistant at Wanzl UK. From 2018 to 2021, they worked as an Assistant Engineer (RF) at TÜV SüD, focusing on AIS Class A and Class B SOTDMA Transponder Testing, as well as other testing related to WLAN and Bluetooth technologies. Most recently, in 2021, they joined Sepura as a Test Equipment Development Engineer.

George Porter completed their education history as follows:

From 2016 to 2017, they attended the University of Portsmouth and obtained a Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering.

Prior to that, from 2013 to 2016, they also attended the University of Portsmouth and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering.

From 2011 to 2013, George attended Simon Balle School, where they completed their high school education. During this time, they studied various subjects including Psychology, Mathematics, Biology, Physics, and participated in the High School Certificate of Competence Program.

Additionally, George obtained a certification in Programming in C# from NobleProg in July 2023.
