Account Director at Sepura

Victor Rodrigues has extensive work experience in the sales and account management field. Victor started their career as a System Engineer in Alcatel Portugal in 1992 and later worked as a System Tester in Alcatel Berlin in 1995. In 1996, they joined Alcatel Austria as a System Design professional. Victor then returned to Alcatel Portugal and held various roles including Product Management/Tendering and Marketing & Sales Manager.

In 2004, they became an Account Manager in Alcatel Portugal, where they were responsible for deploying account connections and business in the utilities and public sector. Victor joined Thales in 2006 as an Account Manager and later transitioned to Sepura in 2008 as a Regional Sales Director for Latin America. In this role, they set up local offices, built sales teams, and drove business growth.

Victor rejoined Sepura in 2011 as a Senior Business Development Manager for Southern Europe, where they focused on leveraging TETRA and DMR technologies, promoting software applications, and expanding market reach. In 2016, they moved to TASER International and then Axon as a Southern Europe Sales Manager. In these roles, they designed and implemented the international strategy, educated the public safety market on non-lethal TASER devices, and promoted the usage of cloud solutions.

Their most recent position was with Sepura as an Account Director and Strategic Account Director, starting in 2020. In this role, they fostered business relationships with strategic partners and customers in Southern Europe and positioned Sepura as a reliable future provider of LTE solutions for mission-critical operations. Victor also promoted the usage of software applications to improve operational safety and efficiency.

Throughout their career, Victor has shown a strong focus on building relationships, driving growth, and promoting advanced technologies in the public safety and telecommunications sectors.

Victor Rodrigues pursued their education chronologically starting in the year 1986. From 1986 to 1991, they attended Instituto Superior Técnico, where they studied Engineering with a focus on Systems. After completing their degree, they then went on to further their education at Universidade Católica Portuguesa. From 1997 to 1999, Victor pursued a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Marketing.
