Natascha Haitz has a strong background in research and project management. Natascha is currently working as a Project Director at sequa gGmbH, where they manage the EU funded ARCHIPELAGO programme. This program focuses on strengthening the employability and entrepreneurial capacity of MSMEs in the Sahel and Lake Chad region. Prior to this, Natascha worked as a Research Manager at the Center for Evaluation and Development (C4ED) from 2019 to 2021. Natascha also gained experience as a Research Supervisor at the GIGA German Institute of Global and Area Studies in 2017 and as an Intern at the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH in 2017. Natascha has also held various internships in different organizations, including the Indo-German Chamber of Commerce and the Ifo Institute – Leibniz Institute for Economic Research. Overall, Natascha brings a diverse range of experiences in research and project management to their current role as Project Director.
Natascha Haitz began their education in 2011 at the University of Bayreuth, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Internationale Wirtschaft und Entwicklung. Natascha completed this program in 2015. In 2013, they briefly attended the EDHEC Business School for studies in International Management.
Afterwards, Natascha went on to pursue a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in International Economics at The University of Göttingen. Natascha attended this program from 2015 to 2018. Additionally, in 2016, they had a short period of study at Stellenbosch University in the field of Development Economics.

The company is headquartered in Bonn. sequa employs over 100 people (2020) and generated a turnover of 41 million euros (2020). The focus of our work is the promotion of the private sector. We offer competence and experience in our business areas of chamber and association promotion, vocational training and trade promotion. Our activities include programme administration as well as project management and advisory services. We acquire public funds from national and international donors to finance our programmes and projects. Our key clients are the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and the European Commission. Our most important partners in implementation are chambers, associations, educational institutions and companies. We are a non-profit limited company. Our shareholders are the umbrella organisations of German business (BDA, BDI, DIHK, ZDH) and GIZ. Our goal is to improve the living and working conditions of as many people as possible.
