Medical Device Engineer Mechanical at Sequana Medical

Adriano Primiterra has extensive work experience in the field of medical devices and engineering. Adriano started their career at Università Politecnica delle Marche, where they completed a thesis project focused on creating an algorithm for evaluating morphological parameters used in the diagnosis of CCSVI. After that, they joined Politecnico di Torino for another thesis project, where they developed a human elbow model and conducted biomechanical studies.

Primiterra then gained industry experience at Alvimedica, where they worked as an R&D Engineer and was involved in the design and development of implantable medical devices such as stents, balloons, and delivery systems. Adriano also gained knowledge in laser cutting processes and the manufacturing of balloons and stents. Primiterra later joined Qmedics AG as an R&D Engineer, where they led projects for the development of new medical devices. Adriano worked on a class IIa device, focusing on market analysis, product design, feasibility testing, and other related activities. Adriano also led a project for a class IIb device, overseeing the design and development of packaging and labeling, as well as the submission of technical documentation for the CE mark.

Currently, Primiterra is employed at Sequana Medical NV as a Medical Device Engineer, specializing in mechanical engineering.

Adriano Primiterra's education history includes a Master's degree in Biomedical Engineering with a Biomechanical orientation from Politecnico di Torino, which they obtained from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from Università Politecnica delle Marche from 2010 to 2014.
