Dr. Isabel Hartmann

Medical Writer at Sequana Medical

Dr. Isabel Hartmann has a diverse work experience in the field of medical writing and research. Dr. Isabel started their career in 2001 at TU München, where they held various student jobs as a research assistant and teaching assistant in the Chair of Microbiology. From 2006 to 2009, they worked as a PhD student at the Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene at the University of Zurich. In 2010, they joined the Helmholtz Centre for Infection Research as a post-doc researcher focusing on microbiology and proteomics. In 2015, they became self-employed and started working as a freelance medical writer, providing support for various projects in different therapeutic areas. Since 2019, they have been working as a Medical Writer at Sequana Medical NV.

Dr. Isabel Hartmann began their education in 2000 at the Technical University of Munich, where they pursued a degree in Biology/Biological Sciences. Dr. Isabel successfully completed their studies in 2005, earning a degree of Dipl. Biol. Univ. Following this, Dr. Hartmann furthered their education at the University of Zurich between 2006 and 2010. During this time, they specialized in Microbiology and Immunology, ultimately earning a degree of Dr. sc. nat.
