Ian Filby

Ian Filby is a seasoned decarbonisation leader with extensive experience in the engineering industry across both private consulting and public sectors. With well-developed skills in infrastructure planning, design integration, and project management, they have successfully driven large-scale projects in the water and energy sectors, particularly focusing on capital projects valued in the billion-dollar range. Ian has held several key positions, including Project Director for The CarbonNet Project and currently serves as National Partner for Energy, Decarbonisation, and Major Project Delivery at Sequana Partners. They are pursuing dual bachelor's degrees in Commerce and Civil Engineering from Monash University while also studying at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
